Hello,

This is my first post. But when I saw other people just like me I couldn't resist. I love taking sweaters (I've also found some skirts) apart. 

I have been frustrated though at smaller lengths of yarn and when I found out about hand-felting wool was absolutely thrilled and have used it successfully ever since. (There's a how-to video online). This technique of course works for all kinds of wool: cashmere, merino etc. 

If done carefully there's hardly a trace of where the seam is.
